CalState Re-entry Initiative (CSRI)
This program provides Life Skills Group, Substance Abuse Group, and Counseling Services, at Cal State San Bernardino Re-entry Initiative (CSRI) facility in Moreno Valley for client’s referred by their Parole Agent. FSA’s classes will utilize the evidence based Seeking Safety program that is designed to help people attain safety from substance abuse and trauma/PTSD.
*Must be a referred by CSRI to be eligible.
DV- Healthy Relationships Program
This program provides individual or group therapy for victims of domestic violence referred by Riverside County Department of Public Social Services using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Beyond Trauma: A Healing Journey for Women to Victims of Domestic Violence.
*Must be a referred by Riverside County DPSS to be eligible.
Employee Assistance Program
This program provides mental health services, including individual, couples, and family counseling for individual’s and family members referred by various companies, organizations, and employers that have been contracted with Family Service Association Clinic Department.
*Must be a referred by Employer’s EAP to be eligible.
Family Visitation and Support Center
The Supervised Visitation Program provides monthly interactive and observational visits for children and parents, to demonstrate proper behavior management using the PRIDE skills model, to preserve every child's right to be raised in a safe, permanent family, and to assist families in fulfilling their plans for reunification through supervised visitations. Supervised visits are conducted for families where children have been removed from the custody of the parents and are residing in foster care.
*Must be referred by San Bernardino County Children and Family Services to be eligible.
Kids 1st (First 5 Riverside)
This program provides a comprehensive system of care designed to significantly increase early childhood social competence and decrease the development of disruptive behavior disorders in children ages 0-5. Families can benefit from a continuum of evidence-based services which include case management, Triple P Parenting Classes, traditional therapy and intensive treatment such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Services are also offered to caregivers of children with disabilities or special needs experiencing behavioral issues and/or concerns.
*Must be a Riverside County resident to be eligible.
Older Adults Program Services
This program provides services targeting the elderly population (age 60 or better) to prevent and/or arrest health conditions, particularly mental health, that would hinder the healthy aging of older adults.
The program serves the east valley region of San Bernardino County (from San Bernardino city to 29 Palms). Services includes an LVN that visits Senior and Community Centers to provide health talks and do vitals screening, case managers who visit homebound Seniors to do prevention assessments and provide case-management to Seniors in crisis or at risk of suicide, and clinicians who provide therapy and psychosocial groups to Seniors. There is also a transportation component where Seniors are driven to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, etc.
*Must be a San Bernardino County resident aged 60 or better to be eligible.
Private Pay Counseling
This program provides individual, couples, and family counseling for any individual that may not be covered by another program. Service fees are based on a sliding scale using amount of people in a household and the household income.
Private Pay Anger Management
This program offers a 16 week anger management class to adults. The classes are 2 hours long and are gender specific (no co-ed classes). Classes can be offered one-on-one (one hour) or in a group (two hours) if there are enough participants.
Private Pay Parenting Education
An individual can receive Triple P or Nurturing Parenting education for a fee. An individual will only pay if they are unable to qualify for free services under one of the funded programs. An individual can also receive our non-evidence based parenting education for $20 an hour. This is a 12 week class that can be offered individually (1 hour) or in a two hour group format if there are enough participants.
System of Care
This program provides mental health services, including individual and family therapy, to qualified individuals who are negatively impacted by diagnosable mental disorders. Treatment can take place at the clinic, at the client’s home, or an acceptable school site. Services can be provided multiple times per week as the need dictates, but not to exceed a total of four hours in any given week.
*Must be under the age of 18 with Riverside County Medi-Cal to be eligible.
This program provides evidence-based parent training curriculum and intensive case management to client’s referred by Riverside County Department of Public Social Service. Trained staff works with families in their home to improve parents' skills in the following domains: health, home safety and parent interaction.

Nurturing Children and Families Program
This program provides parenting education for parents or caregivers of children 0-5 residing in either the Morongo Basin or the City of Fontana. This includes supportive case management services, developmental screenings and 16 week nurturing parenting groups. The parent education class utilizes the Nurturing Parenting Model with the goal of improving parent-child interactions and supporting healthy child development.
*Must be a San Bernardino County Resident residing in Fontana or the Morongo Basin to be eligible.
