Family Service Association provides a wide array of services from Anger Management to Housing

Children

  • After School Program: Provided by at our Cabazon Community Center for children ages 8-12
  • Child Care: Provided by our 12 Child Development Sites for children ages 0-5
  • Case management (SafeCare/DR Program): Parent training curriculum and case management for parents with children 0-5 years old
  • Mental health services for children under 18 years of age (SOC): Mental health services for people 18 years or younger who are negatively impacted by diagnosable mental disorders.
  • Family Visitation and Support Center: Monthly interactive and observational visits for children and parents to provide skills for successful reunification. 
  • Therapy for children between the ages of 0-5 and residing in Riverside County (Kids 1st) : Services aimed to increase early childhood social competence and decrease the development of disruptive behavior disorders; also offered to caregivers of children with disabilities or special needs.

 

Adults

  • Private Pay Counseling: Can be individual, couple or family counseling
  • Anger Management: A 16 week anger management class for adults
  • Parenting Education: A 12 week  parenting education class
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Mental health services that are provided by employers to their employees and family
  • Older Adults Program Services: Targets the elderly population who are at risk of developing some condition that would jeopardize their health
  • Kids 1st: Services designed to significantly increase early childhood competence and decrease the development of disruptive behavior disorders in children ages 0-5
  • SafeCare/DR Program: Parent training and intensive case management for parents/caregivers with children ages 0-5
  • Family Visitation and Support Center: Monthly interactive and observational visits for children and parents to provide skills for successful reunification
  • CalState Re-entry Initiative (CSRI): Substance abuse education provided at Cal State San Bernardino Re-entry Initiative Facility in Moreno Valley
  • Healthy Relationships Program(DV): 11 to 16 sessions providing assistance in dealing with destructive thinking and/or recovering from trauma
  • Nurturing Children and Families Program (NCFP): Parenting education and a 16 week parenting group for parents or caregivers with children 0-5
  • Child Care: Provided for children ages 0-5
  • Meals for Seniors: Provided by our 4 Community/Senior Centers
  • Meal delivery for eligible homebound Seniors

Seniors

  • Anger Management: A 16 week anger management class for adults
  • Employee Assistance Program:Mental health services that are provided by employers to their employees and family
  • Housing for Eligible Seniors
  • Housing for those with low-income
  • Therapy for Seniors who are 60 and older(OAPS): Targets elderly populations who are at risk of developing some condition that will jeopardize their health

Community

  • After School Program: Provided by our Cabazon Center for children ages 8-12
  • Arts & Crafts Classes: Classes such as crochet, cake decorating, singing and many others are offered at our 4 Community/Senior Centers
  • Exercise Classes
  • Food Giveaways
  • Free Meals for Seniors: Provided at all 4 of our Community/Senior Centers
  • Housing for Eligible Seniors: Located at Mission Villas Apartments and our  Grand Villas Apartment Complex
  • Mobile Clinic (blood and blood sugar checks, general medical exams and health screenings)
