FSA SPOTLIGHT: Leslie's Story

Our Son…

Has been attending FSA Olivewood Child Development Center for some months now with a break in between due to the pandemic, but before the pandemic he really enjoyed going to school and missed his teacher and classroom. He would bring a lot of his own work home and I can see how he has developed in his vocabulary and his independence.

He has an increased interest to learn new words and letters. He also enjoys reading books and counting. All this combined has helped us see what we can work on at home so when we receive activity packets from school, we are happy that we can continue to work on his writing, counting

and many other things. This as helped us to have an idea of what is appropriate for him to learn at his age. Learning from home with the partnership of FSA’s Olivewood Child Development Center has helped us to bond as a family. We are so thankful to all the teachers and staff for all that they do just to keep our child connected to school. The learning materials that have been provided have also made the learning and teaching process easier for our family.
