As many professionals, caregivers and professionals agree that the crucial years for a child’s development are 0-5. Events such as FSA’s Child Development Conference is designed to provide everyone in a child’s life with vital skill-sets to add to their wheelhouse of knowledge that in turn empowers them to provide the fundamental tools to ensure success for that child throughout life. Dr. Ronald J. Powell Award Winning Keynote Speaker at this year’s conference points out “Fair isn’t ensuring that everyone has the same thing, FAIR is ensuring everyone has what they need to be successful.”

Breakout Sessions (workshops) are always offered at FSA’s Child Development Conferences and this year was no exception! With a Western Theme for this Anniversary Year, workshops provided additional lectures, courses, and team building exercises that can be introduced into a child’s developmental environment; be it at home, daycare, childcare, and classroom. This year Breakout Sessions were filled to capacity and covering various areas of positive impact when challenging behaviors arise in the Wild West of Zero to 5.
